The Olympic Studies Centre (OSC) organises an annual research grant programme designed for:

PhD Students engaged in research related to Olympism, the Olympic Movement, or the Olympic Games.
Early Career Academics conducting research on similar topics.

The programme focuses on fostering academic exploration of the Olympic Movement's history, ideals, and its societal and cultural impact.

Successful applicants will receive a research grant of up to USD 6,000.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

The following individuals are eligible to apply:

PhD Students:
- Must be currently enrolled in a PhD degree programme within the human and/or social sciences.
- Research must include Olympism, the Olympic Movement, or the Olympic Games as one of the focal points.
Early Career Academics:
- Must have completed their doctorate or equivalent highest degree (including master's, depending on the field) in or after 2024.
- Includes academic staff members and postdoctoral fellows.
