The Stephen R. Tully Memorial Grant is designed to support research and conservation efforts focused on raptors. It is particularly aimed at students and amateurs who have limited access to alternative funding sources.

Applicants are required to submit the following:

1. Cover Letter:

   • Highlight motivations, objectives, and expected outcomes of the study.

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV).

3. Research Proposal (maximum 5 pages), including:

   • Background and justification (need).
   • Study objectives and methods.
   • A detailed budget explaining how funds will be spent.
   • A list of other funding sources (both requested and received).
   • Expected results.
   • Literature cited (maximum 1 page).

4. Photograph:

   • A photo of the applicant, preferably in the field, to be used when awards are announced.
